You actually cannot go wrong with this speaker. When I initially bought it, I was a tad scared due to not knowing the size. (Call me a idiot, but I was too lazy to measure.) When it arrived, I opened the familiar Anker box, and as greeted by a speaker about 4cm longer than my hand. Thank goodness for that, or I would not have brought it on any of my travels. Initially I was planning on testing it out, and giving it a full charge. Life happened though, and I ended up on a 4 day hike with a speaker I had never used. Day 1: I used this speaker for quite a while. About 4 hours going up the mountain, on full volume. To give you an idea of how loud this little thing is: I had it in my backpack and my friend could clearly hear 'Friday' all the way from the back of the group of 10. (He yelled to shut it off.) After reaching the top, we camped out and I used it to play some music around our camp. I'll estimate total usage for the day was about 7-8 hours. This is about my battery expectation for bluetooth speakers. Since this thing is pretty loud, I expected a bit shorter battery life to be honest. Now comes the surprising part: Day 2,3, and 4: I used it as much on these days, as the first day. And on the 3rd night, this sucker was still going! It actually blew my mind. My friends were all questioning if I had charged it overnight, or how it was still going. I didn't know either. I have contacted the FDA about this speaker because I firmly believe there is a small nuclear reactor powering it. About midway down the mountain on day 4, the speaker finally gave out. At that point, my friend took out his speaker and played us Bieber the rest of the way down. (Also side note: This whole weekend was spent switching between music on my friends and my phones. There is a little Bluetooth button on top of this thing that automatically unpairs/pairs with the next device. It's very convenient if you and your friends like sharing music.) So review from the mountain: -BEST battery life of any speaker I've had. -Loud as hell -Durable. (I forgot to mention, I dropped this thing about 6 meters while trying to get to a ledge.) Once I got home and unpacked, I started charging it. I figured long life, long charge. But it turned out to be quite the surprise as well. I only needed to charge it for about 5 hours by my count, and it showed as full. No review is complete without pros and cons: Pros: Loud Battery Durability Sound quality Fast Bluetooth. Cons: I haven't used all the buttons on the top. But you might find them useful. This is an awesome speaker, I recommend it to anyone looking for a small to mid-size Bluetooth speaker.
