Shocked by reviews
Queen Afua literally tells people they may go into a bit of culture shock because Western Culture is big on a jealous God that is far away and anything contrary to this is evil. They made us believe all of our original beliefs were evil and we adopted their practices as the norm just as we have done with their beauty standards, holidays, and customs. It amazes me that people that put up Christmas trees and celebrate a fertility god and a bunny and eggs can’t read past the beliefs unlike their own. The book is awesome and has saved me life again and again. To those saying it’s for women trying to have kids, again false. She is speaking to the WOMB wellness of ALL women. The womb of your mind, your body and spirit. For sisters who have fibroids and have had hysterectomies amongst other issues related to poor uterine health. I’m saddened by the misguided reviews and wish people would read this book if and only if you are prepared to do the work. It’s easy to replace the prayers with Christian prayers and references to other gods with the God of Israel. You can make the adjustments in the spiritual and physical realm if you are open to it. My altar has a cross on it and I only pray to God Almighty. I’m just not closed to acknowledging other spirits exist. Either way I strongly suggest this book if you are ready to work. Peace and Blessings
