Ice maker arrived even earlier than expected. I should say, my deciding factor in purchasing was after reading the review of someone who had purchased several different brands prior- and found this brand superior. Reviewed the instructions after unpacking the box. (VERY simple instructions) As advertised, made ice very quickly. (8 minutes for first batch) Not noisy at all! I use bottled spring water, as I prefer the taste. (Takes about a half-gallon to fill the machine) I tend to read reviews before purchasing online, as they often warn of poor quality/design. I can honestly say that I’ve seen NONE of the issues that other customers complained about while I checked reviews on various makes/models of countertop ice makers with this brand! (Noise, ice not freezing thoroughly, poor quality/cheaply made etc.) If you’re on the fence about investing $100+ in a countertop ice maker... rest assured... this IS a solid machine that does what it’s meant to do. We use the heck out of ours, and my only regret is that I didn’t buy it sooner!
