No complaints, does it's job well, leave open and it's Darth Vader's outline
It makes coffee, which I like. I also like that the light up display isn't too bright. I live in a studio apartment so it doesn't take much for a light to start to bother me. It's pretty straight forward to use and get set up, there's nothing tricky about it really. I got two, one for me and one for my brother. He gets frustrated super easily and hasn't broken it yet so that says good things about this whole coffee brewing shabang. the heating plate stays on for at least an hour, so no annoyingly cold coffee, it keeps it decently warm. I like to use this to heat up water to expedite my Tea, hot chocolate, or Ramen Noodles (college kids dream). The lid seals pretty well, no awkward drippage during brewing, I actually recommend opening the lid to let the inside air dry so it doesn't get gross in there. The basket is removable, another plus, so if you take too long to replace the pot when topping off mid brew and grounds over flow everywhere inside of it the cleanup is easier. The auto pause is actually really nice (they call it something lame like "sneak a cup", I'm not sneaky when I need coffee) it does pretty good at not dripping, I was curious because a lot of negative reviews about that but it doesn't seem to be an issue. The pot is durable! I accidentally dropped the pot straight out of the box and my heart sank because I thought I was going to have to be like "oops it broke in shipping..." and wait for another one. Con: It keeps asking for Luke, something about he's his father...
