Perfect for my five month old who could sort of sit up (with support) and wanted to be more independent. He really loved it. He's ten months old now and doesn't use it anymore so here are the pros and cons looking back: Pros It's really cute and soft, no hard plastic edges They can sit up and play without fear of them toppling over It would be good for feeding, especially with the tray The tray is removable for cleaning or just to sit in without the tray, which my little guy did a lot Cons Your child will most likely only use it a few months The front does not remove so you have to shimmy them into it and it can get a little tricky (removing them may even be harder, I needed help a couple of times) Chunkier babies may not fit very long Overall, I would buy it again even if my little one only used it for maybe three months. He enjoyed it and I liked being about to let him sit in something and play for a while knowing he was safe. I took a star off because it was hard to get him out, I wish there was a way to detach the entire front. Maybe they'll figure that out sometime in the future.
