The magnet is pretty strong, so I think it will work
I just got the Shine last night. After reading the reviews, I was worried about it popping out, also - so this is what I did - I attached the magnetic clip to the back side of Shine, and slid the ring over the band. Now, it's on a "leash" - and hopefully if it does pop out, will still be attached! The magnet is pretty strong, so I think it will work. Just a tip for those who had the same concerns I did.
