AAAHHHHH, after getting a couple different pair of cycling shorts that didn't like my body I was very happy to get these - they love me! The fit is perfect and the chamois is just enough - not bulky - and it doesn't stick out the front or the back. The shorts feel like a 2nd skin and I literally forgot I had them on. I took an 11 mile ride last night and other than my chubby leg chaffing these were great! So great in fact that I am going to order another pair! Sizing: This is a tricky topic because everyone is built different and likes a different feel. I normally wear a large in everything - I carry my weight in my butt and thighs with a smaller waist. I ordered the XL and they are perfect! I have been dropping some weight and these are snug enough to be comfy and I think they will be good for a while when I drop a few more pounds. I do want to add that in the picture I thought the black fabric had a kind of texture to it - kind of a neat looking pattern. Not so - they are basic black shorts. I looked at the computer picture again and I think it is a bit pixelated on my screen. So don't expect some fancy fabric pattern.
