Used this for a nouveau Beaujolais. Being the first wine of the harvest, you never sure what to expect, some are good, others not. But decanting will always help the poor vintage and make a good one even better. This Decanter is awesome, it gives a much higher ratio of aeration than most. Our 2020 bottle was very nice after 18 hours of decanting. Yes, it cost a bit more than others but it gets the job done right! Cleaning is not as easy but that’s to be expected and accepted as the design of this Decanter is what gives it the edge over others.
