I tested a bit of this out from my local grocery store before buying the large 54 ounces of it on amazon. I've tried a few different coconut oils and while there are things both like and dislike about this one it does remain my 'go-to' for cooking oils/beauty products What I like/ the good: - cold pressed, unrefined and ORGANIC! - quickly absorbs into the skin when used as a moisturizer. -CHEAP, seriously, this is one of the best deals on amazon for coconut oils The not so good - very coconut-y . Alright, alright...I know this seems like an oxymoron, and honestly this one doesn't bother me, but of all the coconut oils i've tried - this one is the most potent when it comes to residual coconut taste-which may bother some. however those that do not have this taste I have found are not as good for you as this one is... so taste is a trade off... -no glass container. Again not a deal breaker (at least not for me) but would be a good option as I am trying to ward of any and all unnecessary plastics in my life ... Basically if you are in the market for coconut oil, this is one you should buy if not for the price than for the quality...
