This stuff is AMAZING! I used to have to bleach 3-4 times and tone 2-3 times with the other powdered stuff in the 90's. Decided to try and lift my jet black hair to blonde and WOW the technology for hair bleach has completely changed for the better. I have dark, extremely thick, coarse Asian hair. This stuff only took 2 bleachings to get me to pale blonde. I processed my hair in consecutive bleachings so I didn't have to walk around orange, and that in itself is worth all * * * * *! I toned it with wella white lady and was super impressed with the results. This stuff smells nice and surprisingly didn't burn my scalp. I used the 40vol developer because my hair is so dense, it needed all the peroxide it could get. In return, my hair isn't completely fried (Some damage is expected if you're going to lift it 9 levels, but i have minimum breakage considering.) Also, I didn't Olaplex or coconut treat my hair, just used this stuff and tara-data! If you are looking to go extremely blonde or are bleaching to prime your hair for bold colors (or pretty pastels!) look no further. Also, it gets hot so you know it's working- even though it doesn't stink you're gonna want some ventilation. PROS: Instant gratification, less processes, creamy easy to work with consistency, pleasant smell CONS: Pricier than some brands, but one canister was more than enough! Check out the pic showing it going from natural to 1st bleach, 2nd bleach and then toner. *i ordered this on amazon and paid full price!
