My Arizona patio is open to a huge nature preserve. I have a snake fence that works great, but mice and rats climb the mesh in 2 seconds. Poison dehydrates mice and rats so the drown in the pool trying to rehydrate. It’s as gross as it sounds. Enter the Ultrasonic pest repeller. I bought three, for both ends of our covered 1500 sq ft patio and our big front patio. This model has 3 levels, all are on the max (red light) setting. Indoors you might be able to hear it on Red in a quiet room, but outside you won’t hear it — but they will!! The reaction to the repeller will not be instant, it takes at least a week. Rats/mice are nocturnal, so we rarely see them. After 4 days, I saw several rats rounding around in broad daylight acting really strange, like something was rattling their world. That lasted 2 days, now nothing for a month. No more mice “rice” droppings either, which covered our patios (dangerous, harbors bad viruses). I’ve power-washed the patios, and no sign of rodents whatsoever. I just bought a 4th for the garage, this device works!!
