I was quite skeptical at first. The price is good, but how about the binoculars quality? I'm thinking, cheap plastic with weights inside. Well I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed! They were larger than what the pictures seem to indicate. Very well constructed. Has a firm, solid feel to them. Also has a non-reflective, slip-proof, rubber like coating on the entire set. Very clear, up close images. Simple fast focusing for quick action viewing. Len covers are attached and de-attachable so you can mount it on a tripod. You don't have to worry about where to put them when you're trying to get that close up. I was concerned with the soft side case. My binoculars in the past came with hard side cases, but they weren't very comfortable when slung over my shoulder. Always bouncing off my side. This case is a lot more trek friendly and maybe could use a little more padding and a longer strap. Overall it's a great binocular for a great price.
