Minus one star because it can shatter your window or damage drywall, without adding rubber safety bumpers. This was relatively easy to install, and very sturdy. It's larger than appears based on the pics here, so check the measurements! The suction cups are strong, but easy to remove and readjust with the pull tabs. Folds down if you want to close window curtains or slide open a glass door. I HIGHLY recommend getting some small vinyl bumpers from the local hardware store (or amazon) and putting them on the glass right where the 2 metal support arms swing down and hit the glass. They cost $4 or less, and will save your window (or drywall, if yours is in a window and above a sill) because if you lift the shelf up, the metal arms fly downward pretty fast, and could do some real damage. Even a curious cat could - in the right circumstances - cause the bed to swing up and the arms to fall down smashing into the window. You'll need bumpers that are at least a 1/4 thick. I like this design over the hanging wire ones, because the support rods are under the bed and don't get in the way of the cats jumping up. When installing, I had to readjust the bottom cups a couple times to get the ends of the support rods both equally supporting the frame with the frame parallel to the floor. The pull tabs on the suction cups made this easy. I also cleaned the glass areas where the cups were going to be mounted with rubbing alcohol. The company should include a couple optional vinyl bumpers to help prevent shattering a window or door or gouging holes in drywall. They give you an extra suction cup, why not 2 vinyl safety bumpers? That's the only reason I can't give 5 stars.
