I installed the 4 camera Arlo system about 2 weeks ago; 2 cameras outside the house and 2 inside. The installation and setup was quick and easy. I had no problems syncing the cameras with the base station, and have set up the app on my phone, my wife's phone, and a tablet (all iOS in our case). The only adjustments I had to make were to fine tune the motion detection sensitivity, which the app makes very easy to accomplish. Once set up, it was very easy to create a couple of modes with rules and schedules. I have a schedule set up to monitor and record motion outside every night, and an "armed" mode that monitors for motion and records from all 4 cameras, to use when we are away. A week after installing the cameras, we went away on a 5 day trip, so I armed the system with a few taps. We were promptly informed of any motion (pest guy, pool guy, lawn guys, and a bird) and everything was recorded as expected. I also took a few live peeks into the house, just because I could. After two weeks of use, with plenty of live looks and motion activated recordings, all 4 cameras are still showing full battery meters. I am very pleased with the ease of installation, ease of setup, and the overall usability. I was concerned that the battery life would be an issue, but so far it has not been a concern.
