I really like this Loc8tor. It does work very well! However, it comes with very poor batteries that are weak to begin with, and last a very short time. The batteries in the collar devices only lasted a week for me. I highly recommend that you order the Energizer batteries that can be bundled with the Loc8tor as part of the order. Then change all the batteries with the hugely better quality, and longer lasting Energizers *before* pairing the collar to the handset, and putting them on your pet. UPDATE: Don't believe 90% of the reviews! This a decent product, but don't expect it to detect your pet at 60 yards. With fresh batteries and no obstructions, you might get 200 feet, but reality is maybe 50 feet ... Also, your review won't be seen if you mention where the horribly performing, included batteries come from ...
