I wish I had all of the money back I wasted on furminators, as seen on tv, and any other dog grooming brush. This Deshedding brush is by far the best built and most effective tool I have tried in 12 years. (We've had two German Shepherds and now a Golden Retriever.) While these dogs are know for shedding, I'm not constantly following my Golden around with a vacuum cleaner or duster picking up his hair. He hated the furminator, but actually lets me brush him with this tool. Highly recommended!
