HOW TO FIX YOUR COFFEE MAKER!
-if your coffee pot is steaming over
-if it won’t drip
-if the water isn’t being sucked in.
There is a quick 15 min EASY fix for the do it yourself.
- start by removing the first 4 screws on the bottom side of the coffee maker
-you’re gonna want to remove the inlet tube next using long needle nose pliers to remove the top and bottom hose clamps. If you’re not sure which one this is. It’s the tube that is connected to the water tank. And you should be able to see 2 objects items inside the tube.
-inside this tube there is a ball valve and what I called a fixed orifice tube even though it Might be called something else. It just Restricts the water flow from what I can see. Remove this white fixed orifice from the tube and clean it out. This is what is causing the problem. Coffee grinds are getting into the water tank and then collecting in this little restricted cap of some sort. You should be able to see through this cap. Even if it’s in the tube. I took another pic of when I stuck it back in clean. If you’re looking down the hose and this cap is clean and you can see through the center of it. Then remove the ball valve because it’s probably clogged with coffee.
-after cleaning reverse the steps and put it back together.
