Remote start was easy to install, while the door locks were a little more difficult only due to the model of vehicle. Range is much better than anticipated. ---Update--- Since installing this unit, I have finally had the time to play with all of the features and add some additional 'touches' to the setup. For newer vehiclesyou may need to purchase an additional bypass module. Unsure? It is easy to check! Starting around the 1996-98 time-frame, some of the higher end (better model) vehicles started using anti-theft options that would not allow the vehicle to start unless the correct key was inserted.
