I reach 90 years of age this week and have been taking 3 grams per day for 2 1/2 years after a cancer spot was found in my lungs. Four semi annual cat scans later, the spot has not grown and I have “graduated” to annual scans. Next is status on prostate cancer. After surgery, hormone and radiation to deal with a Gleason 10 rated cancer, over the next 20 years, my PSA was slowly raising and I was having to consider more hormone treatment. But now the PSA is stabilizing and even dropping slightly. As to minor stuff like colds, they are infrequent and brief. I am now aiming for 100 and will maintain my dosage.
