The latest model of the case is far better than the first version. The plastic case of the first version was brittle and would break when placing the phone in the holder. I contacted Customer service about the issue. They were quick to respond. I was offered a full refund or a replacement case with a new phone holder. I was told upfront that the new design would ship in about 2 mounts. I Have tried several other wallet type cases and did not like the look of feel the other cases. I opted to wait for the new case. Customer service kept me updated on the status of the replacement. The timeline for replacement was consistent with what I was told. The replacement arrived and I have been using it for several mounts with no problems. The phone holder itself is made from a softer more flexible material and the case is quality leather. Now that the quality control issues are fixed I would recommend this case.
