This Tribit XSound Go is a fantastic speaker for the price and size. It has a better sonic spectrum, battery life, and functionality than some "big name" brands that are just that, a "name" slapped on an inferior speaker. It's nice to have volume, play/pause and skip/reverse track function buttons on the actual speaker. Note: you MUST download the firmware update and install it in order to have the best sound from the speaker. The firmware update link is listed in the Amazon "Customer questions & answers" section of this product. At the manufacturer's site and product page, click the Product Guides button, then the file "Tribit XSound Go Upgrade File-Oluv" is downloaded by clicking the "Download the manual >" link. I couldn't use the recharging cord that came with the speaker as it wasn't a data transfer cord (there is a difference) so you may need to try other micro-USB cords you may have from other products in order for the firmware upgrade program to recognize the speaker.
