My wife bought me this RTIC Cooler for my birthday and I've been quite happy with it after a month of use. Living only 15 minutes from one of the top beaches in the world (Siesta Key Beach), we enjoy the surf and sand as much as possible. However, until I started using the RTIC cooler, we really didn't have a cooler that kept our drinks "ice cold" for very long in the hot Florida sun. This cooler has been great! In fact, after 3 visits to the beach (at least 4 hours each time), I'm still using the same bag of ice! After each trip, I just put the ice bag back in my freezer (less whatever ice may have been used for some of our mixed drinks). Some people have complained about the zipper being tough to use, but I've had no problems since I've used the provided silicone grease tube to keep the zipper lubed. The carry strap makes it easy to carry the cooler the long distance from the parking lot to the shore. The pockets on the front and back of the cooler are convenient to keep a bottle opener, too. Like many Amazon shoppers, I take leaving reviews serious; I hope you've found this review helpful in making your purchase decision.
