I bought this for my electric blanket, which I use year round. I suffer from chronic pain due to Lupus, Fibro, Arthritis, and spine disease. The other issue I had to get a duvet for is because facial skincare. I noticed, small bumps around my nose or it the wool on the blanket touched my face. After consulting several articles and changing my skincare, I finally figured out that it was the blanket causing the bumps. Sort of the same thing as with a scarf in winter rubbing the skin. Ladies If you notice little heat like bumps on your face or itching and cannot figure it out, then switch to natural fibers. I asked my husband if I slepts with the blanket on my face, but he assured me "nope". The slight touching, while I am waiting for my medication to work (before I can get move/get out of bed) is enough to cause the bumps. Anyways, the duvet has a zipper. Ties on all 4 corners. It washed near perfectly. It says 100% cotton. I will be able to use it with my other king blankets (feather, and queen If needed heat blanket). The only slight thing I am hoping will change is that it is a little rough after washing. I think that will change after a wash or 2 though. I tried to be pretty thorough in this review as I had a lot of questions when looking for duvets. I also don't think people realize how disabled people depend on honest reviewers. The pictures go from unboxing, to washing/drying, and was put on an adjustable bed.
