Ok, so I wanted something different than just plain bulbs. I was skeptical at first about ordering these but I read other reviews and watched the videos they posted and then quickly looked at the length of each set of lights and thought I would only need 6 sets. But I ordered 7 just to be safe. Got them in extremely fast! 2 days. Opened up the boxes and all 7 sets worked perfectly. Here's my disappointment. From the plug in to the first bulb is almost 3 1/2 feet of cord. Wouldn't be too big of an issue if you need that distance from wall to where you want to start it. But when you go to connect your next set to it, you have about 3 feet to pretty much bunch up in a ball, so you don't end up with a 3 ft gap in your lights. So to clarify, what started out at almost 12 feet of lights are technically like 8-9ft because of the length from the plug in. Overall I am satisfied with the lights. The video I posted is 7 sets hooked up. (5 on one extension cord and 2 on another). I was 2 ft short of reaching the end of my house. So I will be ordering more to wrap around the rest of my house. I rated it 4 stars simply because I don't feel like 8ft of led lights are worth 15.99. But as I stated, I am satisfied with their functionality and ease of use to plug in. Hopefully someone finds this review informative about the length of the cable and realize they are not getting 12 ft of lights.
