This is our 3rd copy, we purchased the first one a couple of years ago based on a friend's suggestion and have played it almost every evening since. The other 2 we've given as gifts to friends and family struggling with bedtime for their little ones. The music itself is perfect for bedtime, our 1 year old doesn't know English yet but most evenings he's snoring by the end of the second song. For the older 3, the beginning notes signal that bedtime is coming - time to begin winding down and settling into bed. Our kids have had *much* less bad dreams and go to sleep much more quickly when we play it. Initially we were using a cd player and would play it when we went upstairs to put them to bed. The CD player broke and in the ensuing months their wakening from bad dreams increased. Right before Christmas we were able to get the cd playing wirelessly on our sonos system and now every evening at 7:30 the music begins. Rarely we have to play it a second time since it's so effective. All that and I still haven't mentioned the message - the scripture sung in the form of lullabies is a powerful "do not be afraid for I am with you" message, something we all benefit from. The other night our 3 year old was having a time going to sleep - I put the music on, helped her to bed, said a short prayer with her and she was asleep before the end of the 2nd song smile :) The next morning she said: "I didn't have any bad dreams daddy" That's because Jesus was with you. "Yes, Jesus lives in my heart, and God!" :) It's always good to hear when we do *something* right :)
