I purchased this in mid-March. Due to a crazy work schedule, was not able to set it up until June 2. Following the directions, I inserted the Micro SD card into the slot. The problem is, they did not put the Micro SD card holder in the unit and the card simply fell into the camera body. I emailed the customer support on June 3rd and have not received any type of response. Needless to say I am out of luck and about$120 plus the cost of the SD card. This is a piece of junk, don't buy it, unless you want to waste your money. THIS IS AN UPDATE TO THE ORIGINAL REVIEW. I did receive a response from the company, but had missed it as I was traveling when it came in. They did respond a second time to let me know they had responded earlier. The problem was a quality control issue. I took the cover off of the front of the camera and found that the camera assembly had not been fully inserted into the camera body. I carefully removed the assemble and the SD card dropped out of the camera. I then carefully reinserted the assembly into the base, making sure the SD card holder and slot were fully aligned. At this point, everything went together properly and I was able to insert the card correctly. From that point, the setup was very simple and it appears to be working correctly. I changed this to only a 3 star review because I don't think I should have been responsible to fix their QC error. That being said, I would buy another one of these if I find it necessary to have a second camera. This is an additional update: After some investigation, it appears that my security settings originally filtered out the original response, which was very prompt. I was a little annoyed by having to fix the QC problem myself, but it only took about 15 minutes to do so. I have now set the camera up and am extremely impressed with the quality of the picture and the ease of use. It performs as described and I like being able to monitor it from anywhere we have internet access. I am so pleased with it that I just ordered a second on to cover a different part of our property. my only suggestion is to check the SD slot before you insert a card to make sure you get it into the actual card holder on the inside. The customer support has actually been very good.
