This mattress is freaking amazing! Our last baby had to sleep in a portable crib in our closet for many months because we didn’t have a dedicated nursery. I felt awful putting him down on those terrible “mattress” pads that come with the cribs- they’re so hard! This mattress is SO MUCH BETTER. I can’t decide which feature is my favorite: the two different sides of softness so you feel safe putting a small infant on it, the ability to fold it and wash the cover, or the carrying case for traveling. It has been amazing here at home and I can’t wait to take it on an upcoming road trip to make sure my baby gets the best sleep quality in a strange place. Side note: you’ll notice that all the less than stellar reviews are from people who didn’t measure their cribs before buying!! This is a standard size mattress that fits MOST portable cribs but you should definitely measure yours to be sure.
