Love this stuff! First of all, I have medium/dark brown hair that's been dyed hundreds of times. I did TWO rounds of this, with clairol 'pure white' 30 vol. developer, followed by toning with Wella T18 'lightest ash blonde', and now have the platinum/white blonde of my dreams!!! AND with very little damage to my hair. I did some research beforehand, and found that some people recommended covering your hair in coconut oil before bleaching to lessen the damage that could be done. I was hesitant about this at first because I didn't think it would bleach through the oil very well, but I'm SO glad I used the oil anyway, because it saved my hair and STILL gave me gorgeous color! Also I did apply this to my roots/scalp and had no burning at all. Lots of itching for the first 5-10 minutes, but that's about it. I've always bought box bleach kits from drug stores when bleaching my hair in the past, but was left with orange hair every time😠 This was my first attempt going blonde with professional products, and i couldn't be happier with my results. Definitely kicking myself in the ass for not going blonde this way a long time ago!😂 Amazing product! Would recommend this to anyone😊
