I USED BOTH THE 'TWIN/FULL' & 'KING/QUEEN' SIZED BED RUFFLES ON MY 'FULL' BED BASE I first bought the 'Twin/Full' bed ruffles for a full bed ... and, in keeping with the comments of the other reviewers - these bed skirts do fit snugly around the bed base. Since these bed ruffles are affordable priced and user friendly, I reordered the 'King/Queen' sized bed ruffles for my 'Full' bed base. DESIGN PROS: This bed skirt fits around the bed base with an elastic band eliminating the need for cumbersome and potentially dangerous bed skirt pins holding the skirt in place. I simply stretch the elastic skirt over the mattress and drape it around the bed base ... I DON'T HAVE TO MOVE THE MATTRESS TO CHANGE THIS BED SKIRT! :)) The bed skirt is 14" long - adequate for my Serta (Full Size) bed base - SEE MY PHOTOS IN CUSTOMER IMAGES The bed ruffles/bed skirt is made out of a wrinkle-free, lightweight cotton/polyester material. The 'Twin/Full' bed ruffles fits snugly on my full bed base with only a few ruffles - it looks pleasing and the tiny ruffles collect less dust. The larger 'King/Queen' sized bed ruffles fits around my 'Full' bed base with a well ruffled skirt - no pins are needed as the bed skirt's elastic is strong enough to prevent sagging. MY RECOMMENDATION: This design of King/Queen' sized bed rufflles on 'King/Queen' sized bed bases will BARELY fit ... You' would end up with very few ruffles and a tight fitting elastic that may soon snap. Use the King/Queen' sized bed ruffles ONLY on your Full' bed base for more ruffles or, use the Twin/Full' sized bed ruffles around your 'Full' bed base for a straighter fit with less ruffles and less dust! JULY 2015 UPDATE: After 3 years of use and several laundry trips, the bed ruffles' lightweight cotton/polyester material still looks like new and the elastic band has held up nicely.
