I've had my car for two years now, and almost every night, it gets hit by sprinklers on the right side. When I'd wash my car, the left side would be all shiny and the right side would be all dull from all of the hard water spots. I tried doing the vinegar solution, but these spots were too old for that to work. After doing some research, I decided to buy this product after reading reviews, seeing the reasonable price, and seeing that you can use this on BOTH glass and car paint. THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF MY BEST PURCHASES FROM AMAZON EVER. (and I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon) Despite the positive reviews, I had my doubts, so the experience was even better when I used it an all of the hard water spots disappeared! The gel was super easy to use and to wash off. Now the right side of my car looks just as nice as the left side. I've uploaded before and after photos. I know it's kind of hard to see with the reflection, but hopefully you get an idea. A few things: If you buy this, I would still recommend trying it on just a small spot on your car first before rubbing it onto everything just in case it does somehow affect your car in a negative way. If it does work on the small area, begin working on your whole area. If it's as big as the entire side of a car, I recommend doing this in stages. Because the directions say to keep the gel on for at max one minute. I worked in stages, first doing one window, then rinsing and wiping off the gel. Then doing the other window, and rinsing again, etc... Spread the gel evenly across the surface, especially towards the edges of the surface. I found myself having to redo the windows of my car a few times because I didn't get enough gel to the edges.
