Before my review, please please please do not buy these if you don't have a projector style headlight. A halogen reflector cannot shine these correctly without blinding passing drivers, and police can ticket you for that. Yes, you'll have great visibility, but it will be like driving with your high beams on at all times. To my review. I was skeptical of getting LED's for my projector housings as I saw many people with retrofitted LED's complaining of lack of throw distance. I don't have this issue. My LED's shine much brighter, and just as far as my halogens did. I don't know if my projector is a better design, or if the people complaining of light distance are putting these LED's in a halogen reflector headlight. I'm going to assume most people that say they are brighter, but not getting the far throw are putting them into reflector and not projector headlights. These lights are very bright, very white, and work perfectly with my projector cutoffs. There is a collar around the H7 style that twists off, and then clips into the H7 housing which you then insert the bulb and twist to lock it in. Very easy to do, but I was worried when I bought it that I'd have to force the clip past the fan; but it was a non issue. You can see in my pictures the far throw of my light with the precise cutoff that the projector housing will give you. And I took a close up picture of my housing that is low beam projector and high beam reflector so you know what NOT to put the bulb into. Basically, if your headlight looks like the reflector side, no LED or HID's for you. If yours looks like a projector, or you can properly retrofit a projector housing into your headlights, then by all means, go LED. I bought these headlights with my own cash and was NOT given anything for my review. This is an honest to goodness review of these, and I am happy with them. If they have a short life span, I will adjust the rating properly at that time.
