I ordered these gloves to use for canning season to handle hot jars and lids as well as the pressure cooker. I am well pleased with the gloves and I think they will work very nicely for canning season when it gets here. I didn't really think about it when I ordered the gloves but after they arrived I could see that they would be great to get hot roasters and casseroles out of the oven. They have a very good grip and so things are not likely to slip out of your hands. They have a cloth lining and slip on and off quickly and easily. I am well satisfied and would definitely order the same thing again.
