Remarkably good for the price.
I just received these today and so far so good. They feel very high quality and sturdy and sound very nice though they may lack a bit low end, I'll have to play with sound settings on my iPhone to see. As for the noise cancelling, its reasonably good. I work for an airline that provides Bose noise cancelling headphones for our first class customers and these are priced less than 1/3 of the Bose units but provide about 2/3 of the cancelling. So for the price they perform admirably. I will edit this review in about a couple weeks after I've had some time with them and taken a couple flights. Again though, I can't express how impressive they seem so far in overall quality.
>>> I've now had these for over a month and they perform very well. I've been on 4 flights (3 aircraft types) and they reduce the ambient noise by a large margin and again are perfect for the price. You can spend more to get better cancelling but these headphones strike a great price/performance ratio that I think is a great value.
>>> April update... a couple flights to Europe and back as well as some 5 hour domestic flights, great headphones, well worth the price.
2019 Update... Of course there are newer offerings from many manufacturers but I still enjoy these headphones. I'd been experiencing reduced run-time due to the age of the battery and would only get about 4 hours of bluetooth and ANC play on flights. With a little DIY skill the internal 300mah (452530) can be replaced with a new one that can be ordered on Amazon. I measured the battery compartment and ordered a 500mah (652533) battery and now easily get 20 hours with both bluetooth and ANC on! My battery was a little too thick and required a mod to the battery case so I would recommend only a 502535 battery rated at 500mah which should fit.
