As soon as it arrived I took it out and turned it on. The “noise” doesn’t bother me at all. It actually put me to sleep. In my room a have rats who choose to go potty everywhere else besides where they’re supposed to, so they can smell. It may have just been in my head, but it worked instantly. The smell dissipated and the air felt a thousand times better. I left it running on 3 while I took a nap and went to work. You can tell there’s a huge difference in the air. It’s only been running for 6 hours so far. I’m also allergic to things with fur, so I’m always stuffy. I don’t have much of a problem now since I’ve turned it on. I’ve never had an air purifier before so I naturally read a lot of reviews for different purifiers. The price was a concern, but if it was going to make me feel better in the long run, why not. If you buy this you won’t regret it! It’s not too big and it’s not that heavy. I have it on a shelf right now, but will be moving it out of sight. Also, it doesn’t look horrible. The chrome silver looks great, it just doesn’t match the theme of my room. If this came in Black that would be awesome!
