I'm not sure why some people have complained, but I'm obsessed
I'm vegan, but sometimes I have to make compromises. There is absolutely no reason to use nylon (plastic) dental floss -- even if you are a vegan -- when it comes at such an enormous cost to the animals of our planet.
Everything has a price. If you're looking for floss that never breaks, well, it's going to not break in the environment when you throw it away, too, and some poor animal will likely suffer the consequences.
Have you ever seen what happens to marine wildlife when our plastic floss invariably enters their habitat? I don't think I'm ever going to forget the image of this poor baby seal with half its neck ripped off because it got caught in the nylon that doesn't break in between our teeth.
Don't complain about something not functioning perfectly for YOUR convenience. If you're used to indestructible floss but you actually give AF about the planet and the things living in it, then you're going to have to learn how to use a floss that can decompose.
Oh, and, for what it's worth: I have very tight teeth (I had to have a few removed when I was younger, since they weren't all going to fit), and I manage phenomenally well with this floss. You just need to gently saw back and forth in between the crevices of your teeth instead of trying to pull straight down -- and saw back and forth on the way up, too.
