I had previously used a Moshi Origami case for my original iPad Mini, and the Apple Smart Case for my iPad Mini 2, both of which were significantly more expensive than this. But I hadn't had the time to research cases for my new iPad Air 2, and few were available yet, so I figured I'd pick up this inexpensive case to hold me over for an upcoming business trip. My first impressions are quite good. I like that the cover is completely attached to the back of the case, and is very sturdy. I've never been a fan of covers with magnetic attachments, as they don't seem to stay put for my uses. The plastic back is translucent, and tinted blue to coordinate with the color of the cover. The buttons have plastic covers with a good tactile feel to them, rather than the more common cut-outs on other plastic back-snap cases. The cover has a smooth leather feel to the front, with a suede feel to the back, but it's quite thin. The case adds very little bulk to the iPad Air 2, and weighs almost nothing. Honestly, if you're eyeing a more expensive case with similar features, save yourself some money and pick this up instead. It's more than just another cheap case. It's a very high quality, attractive case for a bargain price.
