I had very low expectations as none of the carpet cleaners i had before were any good. This one is perfect - easy to use, cleans well. I took a photo of two identical runners, one has already been cleaned and the other one hasn't. You can probably see which one is which. And the other photo shows how much dirt came out of the cleaned runner. I am very satisfied with this carpet cleaner, it is totally worth the money
