I have multiple sclerosis & while I can use a rollator walker for short distances venturing out to shopping malls etc. is very difficult, i tire easily. I had a large power wheelchair which unfortunately I lost when my home was destroyed in Hurricane Sandy. I replaced the chair wih a scooter that looked good on paper but turned out to be too large to fit in my hand-controlled vnan & too difficult to use. The company would not take it back. This scooter is small & compact but really durable. I have a 2013 Toyota Sienna Van. I had one of the middle seats removed to accomodate my walker. With the scooter I take the seat & battery off & can easily lift the front end into the van. I then put the scooter into "neutral" & lift the back, it easily rolls into my van with little effort. By putting the front tiller down I can still put my walker in the van too. TIP: I purchased an electrical plug adapter; one I can plug into the auxilarly plug (formally called cigarette lighter) in my van. This allows me to plug the scooter battery in while driving so it can charge between destinations. It also keeps me from always having to bring the battery into the house to charge.
