This snuffle mat is HUGE. Look at it with my 79 pound black and white staffy mix and my 37 pound brown beagle mix. (last 2 photos) They were so busy searching for their kibble that they never even considered flipping it over. (I did not attach the included straps) Both of my dogs searched for a good 20 minutes or more. My staffy had a more difficulty with the kibble hidden under the crossed pieces but my Beagle with her longer snout had no problem with it. This mat is VERY durable. Well made. SO many places to hide treats. They BOTH loved it. I have not washed it yet although I plan to, in cold water and allow to air dry. (My washer does not have an agitator so I don't have to worry about pieces getting caught under it.) I plan to order a second one to keep on standby. I did not allow them to use this at the same time. I didn't want any resource guarding issues. I have bough puzzle games, and the mich smaller and basic gray snuffle mat for them. This is by far the MOST engaging and stimulating activity product we have. Hands down. It's not too easy, not too complicated. Definitely worth the money. On another note, my Beagle mix is sound reactive. Thunder, fireworks, it scares her. Today when it was thundering she continued her kibble search with minimal pausing. She was engaged. Not bored. Not anxious. I cannot recommend this snuffle mat enough.
