I've had my machine for only a few days and I'm cooking my 3rd loaf as I write. I debated about going for a less expensive machine but I picked this one for a number of reasons. The bread pan has a ceramic coating, I'm hoping it will be more durable and safer than Teflon. I was a little apprehensive that the ceramic coating might not be as slippery and the loaf would be hard to get out. As it happens, that is definitely not a problem, the loaves fall out effortlessly. 2nd, this is a good looking machine and goes well with my other stainless appliances. Lastly, when I buy, I shop carefully and give a lot of credence to the rating system on Amazon and other sites. I read all the reviews, if practical, including the bad ones. This machine is one of the highest rated. The instruction book - I found it adequate, nothing fancy, but the bottom line is that the machine is very easy to use. There are no recipes but the internet has more than you'll ever need, all free, but even so, if you write and review (good or bad) the manufacturer will send you a free cookbook. I am disabled and can't stand long and making bread in a bread machine is suited for me because its so easy to make bread. You can't beat bread, fresh out of the oven.
