This book is a page turner. Have a flight to catch or a trip to the beach planned? This book is a great choice. I read an advanced copy of this during a cruise last month and it was one of the fastest reads ever. This book pertains to a mother and her son in Mexico but it could be about any parent and a child anywhere. It is nerve-wracking and exciting, heartbreaking and heartwarming but also taught me a lot about the motivations and tribulations of folks coming to America from the south. It is really well written and so I'm excited to read the authors other books.
