I bought this after my old Canon Pixma IP1500 finally died. I have to say for such an inexpensive printer, that was a really good one & lasted a long time. I almost went with a Canon again, but all the reviews I read kept talking about how expensive they were to keep them in ink, so I did some research online & found out that an older model of this Brother Printer was rated at the top for 5 yrs. in a row. I would have never bought a Brother printer otherwise. So, I decided to go for the newer model & am really glad I did! It was really easy to set up wirelessly & I've had no problems with it at all. I print shipping labels everyday for my small business & use an online printer for my photos or prints, so this is mostly a business printer. I haven't set it up for the FAX yet because I really don't need that. So far, I don't have any complaints. I haven't run out of ink yet and it seems to print flawlessly. I would definitely recommend it. It's a good buy! And the price was very reasonable for the quality.
