I used this product to paint my old kitchen cabinets. I first washed them down with dawn and then with liquid sandpaper. After wiping them down again with a lint free wet rag, I applied 2 coats of primer. After that dried I applied 2 thin coats of cabinet coat and sanded it once it dried. I applied two more thin coats to achieve a flawless, manufactured look. The cabinets ended up smooth and even with a nice sheen. To apply I used a foam roller and foam brush on the areas the roller would not reach. The results are better than I imagined.
