I bought these because my girlfriend likes to drink half a coke and waste the second half. Also, I get paranoid that a bee has flown in my beer when I'm hanging out by the pool. These solve both of those problems. One thing to note is that these lids have two tiny tiny holes poked in the top. You can't see them unless you stretch the silicone out. The holes allow carbonation to seep out the top so the pressure of the soda/beer doesn't blow the cap off. This means your soda will still go flat over time. They definitely stay carbonated longer than just leaving them in the open air though. The lid has a ring around the rim so you can invert the can without it spilling. A small amount will seep through the previously mentioned air holes, but otherwise it holds strong. Anyways, they're awesome for what they do and a fair price for their performance. Easy to clean too. I bought the 6 pack of purple, but I might buy again in the multicolor pack. That would allow us to identify drinks at a party. Don't drink from the orange lid, Greg, that one's mine. Yours is the green one.
