Works great! Fantastic customer support.
First things first... I HATE using a CPAP. However since NOT using it could mean death... I'm going to use it. Second, I HATE cleaning the mask and hoses from the CPAP, it's impossible to get to all the little grooves and ridges in them and no matter how hard you try... after several weeks they start getting that "musty" smell. This SoClean 2 unit makes that MUCH, MUCH easier... How easy? wake up, pull the mask off your face, dump it into the top of the unit and close the lid (there's a notch in the side for the hose to stay connected to the CPAP itself). DONE! You don't even have to turn it on. It has an "automatic" mode that will have it go off at the same time every day (I have mine set to go off at noon, just in case I decide to sleep in some time). Or, you can manually start it by pushing one button. I've been using mine for about 2 months and no musty smells, just the smell of a clean CPAP mask. I had one REALLY minor issue with the adapter and contacted support via e-mail and they were back to me within a few hours and had a solution immediately. OK, so it's hard to get excited about a CPAP or a CPAP cleaning machine... but I'm telling you, if you own a CPAP, you NEED one of these to make it more bearable. Try it, you won't be sorry! Update: 4/19/16 - After using this for a couple of years, I still am very glad I bought it and it's still chugging along just fine. I will add a couple of things though: The SoClean does leave an odor in the hose/mask, but it's one of Ozone, not mildew, a definite improvement and one that is immediately removed by just turning on the CPAP for a few seconds before I put it on my face and let the air blow through it. Problem solved. The only "negative" I have with the SoClean unit? It doesn't keep time when the power goes out. Every time the power blinks or goes out, the clock resets to 12am. Which, of course, messes up when the unit runs and I've had it kick off just before I was set to go to bed and use my mask... not exactly best timing. Still not a big deal, reset the clock, which takes about 15 seconds and you're on your way.
