If you're thinking about buying one of those $35 pencil skirts from that "pop up party" company you should stop and have a look at this! I ordered this skirt for work. But I had no idea if it would work for me. I only took the risk because of amazon's return policy. The night before this was set to be delivered I attended a pop up party for that leggings/skirt company that everyone is going nuts for. I purchased a "cassie" pencil skirt in a taupe color at the party for $35. When this skirt arrived I was stunned to see that it was the exact same skirt, made of the exact same material, with the se waistband and hem. Thankfully, I was able to return the $35 skirt from the party and I have now ordered another color of this skirt. It's comfortable, cute and long enough for the office. I'm 5'10" and wear between 12-14 US sizing and the XL fit with plenty of room. Despite not having a slit, it was comfortable to walk and sit in. I just ordered a L and will update this review regarding the fit of it as well after it arrives. **UPDATE** The large arrived and also fits me well. It is only slightly smaller than the XL. Love both of these skirts. Both work well as strapless tops as well. And can even be used as a scarf. I expect that I will order this in several more colors.
