Ordered this based on other reviews about the ability to vacuum seal. Here’s how we did it: Bag is just thick plastic with an opening on one end. We rolled up the open end and taped it down with a few layers of packing tape to seal it. We left a hole on one end wide enough for the shop vac hose, and once we inserted the hose we taped around the hose to seal in the air around it. Turned on the vacuum and once the bag seemed tight, we began walking on the mattress beginning with the far end. Repeated the walking until it was as flat as it was going to get. While the vacuum was still running, we rolled it up and taped it together. We then twisted the plastic right below the opening before removing the vacuum, then taped the opening with lots of tape. Worked perfectly and we were able to fit the mattress into a box for storage.
