The unit arrived on time, well within the range that was promised. The box was undamaged and not too heavy to lift. Once unpacked, everything was undamaged and all parts present. Assembly of the exhaust vent hose and window kit were intuitive and easy to manage. Today is the first day that I've had any call to use it, but it appears to cool the room (larger than the advertised 161 sqft) adequately. As others have commented about a similar unit by the same manufacturer, it is a bit noisy, but the noise is not very intrusive: more of a whooshing sound of wind through the opening than the more annoying motor or fan sounds one finds in other portable A/Cs. It is more silent than the last window unit that I had, if that is any help. I would definitely be able to sleep with it running. Overall, I am happy with it so far. I would recommend it to a friend or buy it again without worry. If, once warmer weather returns, I change my mind, I will update this review.
