Overall, the food is delicious! It is louder than most but I’m okay with that. I haven’t had any issues with smoke or extra heat and my counter top has stayed safe. I will say that if the grease drips on the heating coils when it’s cooking it will smoke as the grease burns off. You need to either put parchment on the air fry rack or a drip tray above the coils and there will not be any issue with smoking. I wish the cookbook would provide more recipes catering the air fry part of the machine versus the grill part. Toasting takes a bit longer than it did in my toaster oven but I think it’s because of the couple of minutes it takes to preheat. I love that it’s so functional and versatile!
