So this is the first french press I ever owned and used, a friend told me that she recommends one and being a coffee drinker I wanted to see all the hype as they are really cheap and figured it couldn't hurt. I consider myself an amateur coffee connoisseur as I've been to several fancy coffee shops and espressos are my absolute favorite, but seeing as an espresso machine cost a small fortune I had never been able to own one myself. So I decided to try a french press. And holy cow, have I've been blown away. This French Press is absolutely amazing. I was a bit confused on how it worked but a small video showed me and you can have your coffee done in under 6 minutes all depending on how strong you want it, the type of coffee...etc but I have to say I am very, very pleased. This has made one of the best coffee's I've ever tried. And the best part about it is, what could break? There's nothing I can see breaking unless you chuck this off a building. All you do is boil water, pour it in, heat up the press, pour it out, add coffee, water, stir, wait a few minutes then press! It's amazing how simple this is and how great of coffee it makes. One thing I've learned using this is after you press the coffee, pour it into a Carafe if you aren't going to drink it all right away, as if you leave it sitting in the french press on the beans it's going to get bitter (Which in my opinion I don't mind, others might though!)
